Haven't had the time or energy to write for a few days, so a quick catch up. Monday in New York was the Brooklyn Food Tour. We met our group in a gorgeous street in Greenwich Village & left in a small bus. A quick stop at 1st & 1st at a Jewish cafe for rugelach (Orange/chocolate pastries). ... It was incredibly sad to see all the flowers dotted around from the day before where family members had come to pay their respects. I don't think we fully appreciated the scale of the building that went down until we saw the diameter of it with the water cascading down into into foundations. And all the names! This really was such a senseless tragedy and no words can describe how eerie it was standing there.
