    ... head in my hands and stroke his head and he always falls asleep while looking up at me. We spend the whole journey just staring at each other and, although trivial, makes my heart melt each time. He then stays asleep as I pop him into his bed and I get to chat with Millie for a bit.     The first thing that strikes you as you approach Koh Tao are the crystal, clear, aquamarine waters that truly glisten under the ferocious glare of the sun, the second is the cacophony of sound as taxi drivers try to grab your attention, desperate for your business. Simple things obviously make my day as I felt very special when I spotted a wee man holding a board with my name on it, no haggling for us then.     ... and huts with cushion seats and right by the beach, so chilled. We have been guide-less this week and on our first day alone, 3 of the boys went to hospital, for rabies shots, stitches and tablets. So wasn't a great start but they're all still alive. We've actually only been "out out" twice here, for the jungle party, which was pretty cool, was literally in the jungle, the music grew louder through the trees ...

    ... gna do a city tour..we went to 5 places: 1) buddha temple..yes another one..I might as well convert lol..saw a huge buddha..lovely area with tiny tourist shops selling the standard souvenirs 2) view point..this was stunning..sun shining and beautiful waters..check out the pics 3) namuang waterfall..this was too very nice..as its dry season in Thailand..there wasnt much water but lovely waterfall nevertheless..saw some elephants and a baby bobo too..super ...

    ... started after yesterday’s class and lasted until today. I’m going to go back for Day 2 on Friday so hopefully the ocean is calmer and I experience no ill-effects. I love snorkelling and diving gets you so much closer to the vibrant and fascinating world that lives beneath the ocean’s surface.
