7)Coffee shops - the kiwis love them, they are everywhere! There must be more than 1 coffee shop in NZ per head of population its crazy! But a strange thing happens at around 3.30pm, they all close up no matter how big the town, city or village you are in, you would find it hard to get a coffee or hot drink after 3ish, unless you're in a town with a McDonald's Mccafe - no wonder its such a popular place.
