Had an ok night, except for a spider crawling all over me,
but was till happy there was plentiful good strong coffee but the rest of the

Punta del Este, literally translates as the East Point (it sounds much nicer in Spanish!) On the west side of the point is the river and on the east side is the atlantic sea, producing a green, slightly murky water where the two combine. Punta del Este is where all the wealthier Argentines go for their summer holiday and with it being a 40 minute plane ride away, its the perfect contrast to the bustling city of Buenos Aires. ... we drove out onto the peninsula. There’s a multilane, one way road that goes around from the west side around to the east, with plenty of places to pull off and park. ... sight of multiple travellers asleep on mattresses in the reception and living room greeted me. Managing to side step and step over a few bodies were challenging but not impossible. Residing in the kitchen, I awaited both the owner and Argentinian quartet to appear. In the meantime, I took a seat across the owner’s son at the kitchen counter. Here we spoke and he told me he was studying. My memory is vague on what subjects of study but wishes of good luck were given.
