... We were waiting and waiting, and then realised just as our names were being called that our gate had changed from gate 9 to gate 10!!! So even though we were probably close to being the first passengers for our flight to arrive at the airport, we were close to being the last passengers on the plane!! Still not late though!! This meant that we did not completely miss Nebraska, as the timetable had indicated that we would, as it should have been passed through in the night. In entering Nebraska we moved into Central time, so we only have one more time zone to cross before we reach New York.

As we had breakfast ...

Prepping for SE Asia (The boring stuff)

... travelfish.org is a great resource for this. I decided to go with a tourist visa for Thailand (due to length of stay) and a pre-arranged visa on arrival for Vietnam. Both were very easy processes. Cambodia, Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines, and Indonesia all allow visa on arrival that fit my travel plans.

Physically packing was easy enough. I generally have the same pack list as I did for South and Central America. I did purposely pack some ...
