So only 18 months after the proposal, a fantastic hen-weekend in Edinburgh, an overseas stag weekend in Tossa de Mar, a mere 3.5 weeks since the wedding, a resignation from a job, a dentistry graduation ceremony, finding a new house in Chepstow, packing up 14 years worth of memories at Chez Worslade and leaving London to head off to pastures new.......the Werrys are finally off on their Excellent Honeymoon Adventure!!!

We finally arrived in Liberia about 8:30pm. We were greeted at the gate by our drivers (Maleku Tours). Now only a 2.5 hr drive to jungle hotel...make that 3.5 in the dark. After a quick stop at the JUMBO grocery for beverages (mixers for the vodka) and snacks we were on our way. After a very bumpy, curvy long ass drive we finally arrived at 12:30am Tuesday...20 hrs after we started. Finally vacation can begin.

Arrived 3 hours late into Chicago Union Station, had a rude taxi driver with no GPS. Settled into our apartment, then rugged up and waddled down to the grocery shop for some healthy food, but it wasn't up to my standards. The boys arrived about 3.30am, their train from Seattle was 9 hours late. Stayed up talking till after 6.
