    ... year olds from the Middle East . I don't have an issue with that. Nor do I have an issue with the fact I seem to to be slap bang in the middle of what appears to be the "Arab quarter" here. The hotel is on a corner and runs over the top of all the bars and clubs down the left hand side street! So much for quieter location? When i looked closer (you may have to zoom the photo) the clubs are called "Eros" "club Go-Go-Boys:!!!! Yep I landed not only in but right on top of the bloody Gay ...

    ... I did see one teacher singing and dancing with them which made me feel a little better. On Tuesday we did conversational English with some older students. We didn't have a clue what we were supposed to do or even where we were supposed to go, but hey this is Thailand!     ... old men with young Thai beauties, and although that is obviously what this area is all about, it is VERY hard not to stare. At least we'll be prepared for some of the beach resorts though, where the same kind of thing is incredibly common.
