... afternoon (after a cheeky drink in St Gills Walls!).
In Antwerp (no bridges, just really cool underground tunnels) stayed in a lovely hostel. After a quick meal and a wander around the pretty + cool town centre we got our heads down early for a busy day!

Allie: Vimy Ridge is a humbling sight to see as a Canadian. The landscape was incredible.

Last night in Paris. (Thursday)

Je Suis Catherine Deneuve - we saw this play last night. Another
tiny theatre for no more than 50 people. An American company from
Chicago had performed this play to accolades in USA. Sitting in the
2nd row we had a very upclose experience as five actors played out
this dysfunctional family's various conflicts and escapist lives. We
have loved the theatre here - pity it's so expensive to stay - we

Tired and hungry

... shouting they got out through their 3rd floor bedroom window onto the metal fire escape that runs down the back of the whole of the building (including past my window) and once there they engaged in a little 'free running', bounding noisily up and down making an incredible racket. Perfect! So, two telephoned complaints to reception finally brought some peace and, with it, sleep.
