We arrived at Schirphol at ~8 am and were due out at 10:35. We had arrived on the B concourse and need to walk to the E concourse , which was a good 3/4 of a kilometer away. ... at. Driving into the town we all realised the place was tiny and we were all in for a quiet night, we were wrong! In the afternoon we did a wine tasting in a cellar that dates back to the 1700's the cellar was beautiful and the wine even more so. It was all local Rhine valley wine and its amazing because the vineyards are on the hillside and some of them almost look like they are sitting vertical with the slope. They had been there several times and said it was very good - it was okay but cheap and close by. Memory reminder to Bob, Chris and Jeff - I remembered that on our family trip to Amsterdam 35 years ago we stayed at an old hotel just across from the train station.
