      Our tour started with a 45 minute drive to Postojna Caves which are one of Europe's most extensive & best known caves. The tour starts with fascinating stalactite & stalagmite formations - some of them so old they've connected to form a floor to ceiling column (on average they grow by 1mm per year, to help give a sense for how long this takes).       ... we found the cafe and Karen got her burger, which she enjoyed. I did not have one - I couldn't bring myself to eat horsemeat.
      After that we had to but supplies for the next day's 10hour train journey to Budapest, and then meet the rest of the group for a group dinner, at a nice restaurant which Louise has eaten at before.
