... we will leave snow behind us tomorrow. We are ready to hit the road again. Take off time should be around 9:00, we are packing a lunch from Frettas Italian Food Specialties, an authentic Salumeria now operated by fourth generation, Joseph. His ancestors established Frettas in 1906 in Little Italy, New York. As I said lots of history.

It is 1 degree today, we have just gone over 1000 km. many more to go!

We head up, again checking out the photos. Would be a good idea if dates were recorded beside all of the Visitors signatures. Photos are as new as yesterday, as old as the first photograph ever taken. Very cool. More tomorrow.

It was a beautiful walk, past quaint typically American large ...

We are still in Milford, Pennsylvania which, happily, is also the home of Blue Stone Studio where David and Joann Greenbaum display their gorgeous pottery and artwork. Some of David's pottery has been manipulated so artfully, that it's difficult to believe it is clay and not marble or glass. He doesn't apply any glazes, but instead uses multiple firings, oxidation and burnishing processes along with etching and throwing ...

We had just enough snow for the kids to make a snowman. In this pic, Vivi had shed her coat, but Payson had only just put his on; they worked up quite a sweat rolling up all the snow in the whole backyard. But it kept falling after they went to bed, enough that we had a pretty white lawn in the morning. ...
