    ... paths lead to the houses, putting one foot in front of the other trudging through the latest snowfall is the norm here. Actually most do not use the front door in winter and you can see little paths from the driveway to the back. Ruts are everywhere. Tony would really stand out here with his shovelling skills.

    ... during its life. It is quiet. Our room opens to a garden, now covered with snow as are the Adirondack chairs on our balcony. We enjoyed our welcome treats, can't beat wine and chocolate.

    ... feeling good about how much we'd saved, and quite willing to part with it for an airport-priced breakfast.     We are still in Milford, Pennsylvania which, happily, is also the home of Blue Stone Studio where David and Joann Greenbaum display their gorgeous pottery and artwork. Some of David's pottery has been manipulated so artfully, that it's difficult to believe it is clay and not marble or glass.
