... items for Sally (jacket and a scarf) at the Bucking Rainbow.

Took the drive to Fish Creek Falls and did a short walk to a great view. There was a path leading down to the bottom of the falls but using good sense we passed and just enjoyed the view from topside. A lot of water was flowing over the falls. ... big ski resorts are and after quite some time, found a parking spot near the Ice Castle. We put on our heavy winter coats, gloves, hats, etc and walked over to the castle. It was so neat!! It wasn't crowded at all and so we really took our time and enjoyed each minute of walking through the castle. Needless to say, we took tons of photos. We had fun reenacting a few scenes from a favorite book (Lion Witch ...

... the Christy Peak Express and then down a simple green run to the Thunderhead lift. I then made my way to Sunshine Peak and down Tomahawk as a warm-up and then back up and then down High Noon before taking a break at Rendezvous Saddle since it was fairly cold. I made my way back over to the gondola area and decided to switch out my skis at the demo Yurt. One of the guys working there recognized me from last year ( I did a lot of demos last year too) and he suggested I try ...
