Summer Toboggan
... hell, why not?! So strapped in to a little kart each, they kind of sit on top of a single metal rail track which winds down the mountain. You just have a little handle between your legs to push forward to go and pull back to brake. Here we go!!

Bovec rafting
... bright but kind of chalky blue, due to limestone rock. We also saw some tunnels dug in the mountains which were apparently used in the war. Sneaky.
Most of the way was relatively gentle, effortlessly drifting downstream enjoying the scenery and sunny day. But in places we had some pretty good rapids with rocks to avoid and big waves splashing over the front of our raft. I almost fell out a couple of times but did successfully keep ...
Mountain Hike
We enjoyed Kranjska Gora so much yesterday and decided there was much more to explore there so packed up our stuff after an early brekkie and headed back there to make it our new base. After enquiring in a cafe with great hot chocolate we found a lovely place to stay! A cute little room with a balcony overlooking the ski slopes and mountains. Perfect!!

Superbe journée pour nous, 24 degrés, plein soleil, on a sorti les shorts et la camisole des boules à mites. Aujourd'hui, on va se la couler plus douce si on veut, au lieu de faire du vélo dans les Alpes, on est allés marcher dans Villach pendant cinq heures. On est montés dans la tour de l'Église St Jakob c'est ...
Du vélo dans les Alpes
... en campagne, les routes sont larges comme nos pistes cyclables, c'est très étroit. Mais les gens sont habitués aux vélos. On s'est promené dans les petits villages, près de la rivière, bref c'était comme on voit à la télé et dans les livres.
Ce soir on est allés souper près de l'hôtel. Ça ne coûte pas très cher ici. Nous sommes en basse saison.
