... along the side of the road! It was on it's own (we didn't see a mother bear), and looked a bit scrawny. We stopped alongside it for a quick photo before then leaving the bear to continue on it's way. We continued our drive back down to the beautiful town of Charlottesville. We were both tired so we grabbed a pizza and then went back to the room for an early night. That's all from us! Over and ...

... intolerant, consumed every last chocolate memory of Hershey remaining in my luggage. Much appreciated as I could hardly bear to look at it.

It was also that first night in Charlottesville, at a local Mexican restaurant, that I realized I had an appetite again. Apart from my time in the safety of Joy and Joe’s house, for the most part I had been too anxious and stressed to finish an entire meal this whole trip - eating sporadically ...

... turns greeted us as we just sat back, relaxed and let the bikes do all the work. It was a beautiful day and both Cliff and I decided to just wear our leather vests with long sleeve shirts underneath to keep cool, but to also to enjoy the ride without overheating. What a beautiful ride it was - long lazy turns, a few small twistys and lookouts all over the place allowing you to stop (if you wanted to) or to simply enjoy the view as ...
