... no mans land in-which we didn't belong anywhere. Now we have our belongings this house really does feel more like home. We are feeling much more settled and able to enjoy sunny California. Our tree has even started to flourish and we finally had new windows put in. I think everyone we know here in Almaden is relieved they won't be hearing the words "when the shipping comes" or "yes we have one of those, in the shipping" ...

We moved into the house on Sunday 12th April. This now feels like an eternity ago! We took the house so quickly, we didn't really have chance to look how clean it was as we knew that if we didn't take it someone else would. ... that whole area is technically Big Sur, I don't think so because signs kept popping up along the way that said "Big Sur-10 miles," "Big Sur-4 miles," which would lead me to believe that it wasn't Big Sur yet.
