    Hello World!

    Today was pretty chilly, but at least there was no rain! We took the S and U trains to the Brandenburg Gate to meet up for a free walking tour of the city. The metro system in Berlin is pretty cool. Apparently they are built on former bunkers during WWII. Navigating around is very convenient. I downloaded apps for offline city maps, metro schedules, and "things to do" within Berlin.

    ... regulations and guidelines than Australian or American zoos, as the pygmy hippo enclosure had a very low (less than 1 meter tall) wall around it and anyone (including small children) could literally reach over and pet the hippo! I think security people at any zoo in the USA would have a heart attack if they saw such a thing. Although I got to pet a pygmy hippo and feed her fresh leaves from the tree (not potato chips), so I was pretty happy about it!
