Kamalaya... what can I say - we spent a beautiful seven days in an idyllic beach side commune. The scenery was fantastic, sunsets were amazing and the private beach unreal. There was only one small draw back - no alcohol, no meat, no fish, no bread, no potatoes, no dairy, no fun - we were on a detox! This meant that our day started with pills …
... closure of the bar where he was shot. However there do seem to be as many emergency clinics along the beach as there are bars, was this always the case? Does it put anyone off coming here? It's certainly a different place during the daytime, with boat taxi's and a few touts being the only movement we could find.
We could have attended the Shiva Moon party, the day after we arrived, or stayed another day or two for the Pool or Black Moon parties. There is ...
... all the organising....was great....apart from sweating it out waiting/on the ferry, then again waiting for the not-so-VIP bus pickup. Oh well atleast we got there...and it was cheap!
Last day in Bangkok shopping for a few gifts etc and enjoying the awesome pool at the Aiya Residence, watched the new Star Trek film too which was pretty good...standard of cinemas in Bangkok are epic!

So 5 of the passengers got off the coach and were put onto, what looked like a former train at a fairground carriage with a drivers control at the front.
