    Drove straight up to Maggie and Brian's cottage in northern Vermont. Sun shining brightly but deceptively - it was 4deg. The cottage is right on the shore of Echo Lake ( not the same one we saw yesterday - that was south). M & B come here from Montreal, takes about 2 & half hours.     As our hotel was in the city, we walked around the corner to buy fresh muffins and Graeme bought a decent coffee.     A wonderful location with trees turning to beautiful colours (colors) and some nice restaurants with less challenging American accents. We attended the Orvis Fly Fishing 2 day school at Orvis Headquarters.
