Spent the entire afternoon packing, calling my credit card company, my banks, registering flier miles, and constantly weighing my checked bag along with taking stuff out and throwing it into my carry on. I've never exceeded a 50 pound limit but this time its not such a short trip, and I have a lot I want to take with me. Hopefully I don't have to pay ...

We delayed our departure the next morning until 9 a.m. when Campland could provide us with propane service. That gave us time to perambulate around the park, watch the water fowl on Mission Bay and visit with some of our “Over the Hill Gang” neighbors. Most of the antique cars were stile under wraps from the night before, but enough folks were dusting, polishing and revving up their engines to keep it entertaining.
