      ... though. During the day we saw dolphins being kissed by strangers (the slags!), otters covering themselves in ice to cool themselves down and seals screaming for food (and their demands being met - a new tactic, as a husband, that I may employ!).       ... a turn throwing the fish to the barking sea lions. Phoebe loved it. Blake was a bit more reticent, happy to leave it to the rest of us after realising they were real, smelly fish that we were holding. The first show we caught was the sea lion show - Clyde and Seamore, with their cute little otter friend O.P. It was funny; a pretty slick production.       ... didn’t have the right insurance for the car, maybe next time. We then left San Diego and our one night stop in Escondido about 40miles north of San Diego and the start of our journey to Palm Springs. Lovely food again but this time Thai which was nice and spicy which made a great change from the Mexican. Laundry night tonight so making good use of the industrial sized washer and dryers before noticing that we may have a disaster on our hands… the cooler box is leaking!!! ...
