When you also add in the donkeys going up and down the narrow track with and without people, things were becoming a bit of a nightmare. It was how I imagined the running of the bulls, with donkeys. ... the private properties. We have seen many tourist climbing on the rooftop for a good angle to take the photos, it is very disrespectful. Keep in mind that their buildings and roofs are usually painted in white so it is very difficult to maintain. We stayed in Oia for the entire 4 days in Santorini, slept through the first day and went around Oia to take some photographs on the 2nd day. Didn't have to spend much time as Oia is a small town. We went all around the small streets in ...

... got tired of it like I do most museums. But now we are really tired. We wander past a shop with some lovely fused glass which is quite interesting now that I know how to make fused glass myself. Not that I am anywhere on the level of these pieces but I know that their wonderful "trees of life" are just made of old copper wiring and it fuses into a wonderful black looking tree! She gave us some more wine and we liked it so ...
