... as they are all on the A and B roads. The lake side village of Hallstatt was only 60km away so didn't take very long, even though the road was not a main one. It wasn't 10am yet and the temps were well into the 30's, the temptation was high to grab our towels and swimmers and jump into the Hallsätter See. Fortunately, Sophie had decided to buy a ...

... was cool with occasional bursts of sun for the rest of the day. We thoroughly enjoyed the day...having a brat for lunch ( with the standard dinner roll) and a magnum bar late in the day. I took several walks but Jerry's calf was increasingly bothering him. It was a brutal walk for him back to the shuttle. The place was jammed and by the end of the day, the crowd was rowdy and drunk so a bit intimidating. We had a funny discussion waiting for the shuttle ...

    Easy day in Graz

It was nice waking up this morning knowing we didn't have to rush about to get anywhere. So after a much deserved lazy morning we headed out into Graz centre. The area we are staying in is a bit rough and this is the first place we have felt a little on edge. This probably wasn't helped by the fact that a guy came charging past us with a jacket he'd obviously just stolen as he was being chased down the street by quite a few screaming, angry ...
