    ... was close to 90 minutes after landing. We waited another half an hour for the shuttle to the hotel. The Ibis Plateau where I usually stay is the last stop, which because of light traffic only took 30 minutes to reach.

    ... I decided against that too. I went back to billy bobs and paid the meagre $3 cover and went in. I did come all this way to see it, and hopefully discover the meaning of honky tonk. The place was huge. Big open area filled with small bars around a huge centre bar. Neon signs for beer lit the place in an odd glow, very little lighting besides that.
