An early start was on the cards today. We discovered that the grocery store was open 24hours so wanted to get in there quickly - with no milk for coffee this seemed important to us.
So, we popped out to the shop, wondered around with Megan trying not to buy things simply because she wanted to buy things to taste - took a lot of self control let me tell you. We then went back to the apartment to eat breakfast, find out where we could get dolce gusto capsules ...
... it to California Adventure for magic morning before the park opens. We really enjoyed ourselves those first couple of hours, first in Cars land, going on Radiator Springs Racers and on Luigi's flying tires. (pics below). Then we went on Grizzly River Run (2x) and got sopping wet. It was great! Then came the roller coaster and the ferris wheel.

Fifteen minutes late in leaving the gate and then another fifteen minutes sitting waiting out in a taxi way while LAX Control delayed us.
