Caves and Prosciutto: Ljubljana, Lipica & Piran
We arrived to Ljubljana late Friday night and just got to the hotel and hung out before bed. Saturday morning we headed straight to the caves. I have been to the caves before in Ohio like the Indian Taverns but this was amazing. There were parts where the cave was over 100 meters tall! We weren't allowed to take pictures until the very end where the sunlight was because the flash on the camera could damages the inside of the cave. There were a lot ...
Bovec rafting
Had a nutritious breakfast of a warm chocolate croissant accompanied by a hot chocolate before setting out for our drive to Bovec to go rafting! Bad and Breakfast
... and they are very patient with us both! It's quite funny watching Paul's charades and the way he tries to talk a broken English with an Italian accent! Bepi has some English and we manage, but it is difficult to really understand what the plan is. We stop on the way and we think at the time (and later find out we were right in our assumption) it is to look at a town they think we will like. It is on the coast and is part of a large lagoon, very pretty. We have a drink ...
