    ... the "event". So it was pretty blustery in Irvington the night before my arrival (and as the turbulence felt suggested, it was still fairly windy today). This blustering wind has had the unfortunate effect of knocking the power out!

    ... countries. (also the fact that I know how to get around the country fairly well adds another reason to the list, but we shall call it 2A)
    Skewed? Probably, but alas, with this trip, it also came down to how much bang for my frequent flier miles I could get. Twenty days was the best and I took it.

    Plans for this week include getting to Verizon to see about being in connection with the folks back home and doing a dry run with the rucksack.
