    ... Vacation Hotel. Advertised as a Spa Hotel, few knew that 9 metres of concrete foundation deeper than the hotel was the secret bunker. Still running as a rehabilitation centre now the hotel was built in the 1960s when the threat of nuclear war was at its peak. It took 20 years to complete and was obsolete when finished.     Still, I know Dutch students like to complain about police checks for bike lights, but seeing those dark shadows speeding over sidewalks and through rush-hour traffic, I'm starting to see their point...

    ... a job, or somewhere to sleep. There was this very old lady who was sitting on a corner, with a blanket, singing for at least 10 hours a day. She tore my heart apart and I felt so terrible for her sake. I felt extremely grateful that i have a warm house, lots of food and that I'm so lucky to travel around the world. I go to University and have the "perfect" life. Never forget the ones who do not have that. And be grateful for what you got.
