You can buy tickets for pre-designated prices at the ticket office, and then validate them in the machine when you use them, or you can buy tickets already validated on the platform. Although the machine is all in Polish, someone showed us how to buy more than one ticket at once!

Train got in at 8.15 in morning. Went to Eva's house to drop off bags, then on to Dareks parents apartment for beautiful Polish breakfast. Dareks dad, Joseph, took us to see his garden allotment. But when I walked back at 10 pm it was still slightly light and the atmosphere of the city was great - only because it was the first warm day in ages . So the First Lady and the farmers wife marched us across these paddocks through locked gates etc- I started to think - something has gone wrong here - no cemetery in sight. So we get to these trees in the middle of nowhere and sure enough it's a tiny cemetery . When we found our relative's grave we couldn't believe it!!! Really touching ...
