    Train got in at 8.15 in morning. Went to Eva's house to drop off bags, then on to Dareks parents apartment for beautiful Polish breakfast. Dareks dad, Joseph, took us to see his garden allotment.     Yesterday very successful day chasing ancestors - went tp szczytno (ortelsburg) ,Olsztyn ( Allenstein ), sadowo near biskupiec, alt keykuth in polish stare kiejkuty - there is supposed to be a secret CIA post there. Off to the airport at gdansk. At the airport now. Poland must have the craziest drivers in the world. They overtake on double lines and push opposing traffic off the road!!     I can't believe it - what are the chances!!! We found the grave of one of our ancestors today. Gustav saxarra 1892-1968. After driving around all our researched townships and realised how difficult it is to try and establish a connection to the past. Alt keykuth , Allenstein from Olsztyn .     We met a lovely couple over breakfast who told us how Poland had changed and how poor it used to be. Now it has a fabulous infra structure and is quite modern - only in some of the country towns can you see the remainder of some of the poverty. So we are off to discover some of our ancestors roots today.
