We went to the Blue Mountains on a day trip from Sydney on a 2hour train ride. The famous rocks are called the 3 sisters that you will hopefully see in the photos. In effort to save my liver for one Saturday night, I headed up to the Blue Mountains to try absailing with Suzanne, Catherine, Yvonne and Emer. Lets just say I am not a natural as nearly bashed my head off the cliff face - great craic though!

A few more pics for you. Interesting (?!) fact - the Blue Mountains are blue because of a blue haze given off by the many eucalypts in the area. I mention this as you can't see it too well from the photo's, but you get the gist :-). The mountains are beautiful and only a couple of hours drive from Sydney.
