Just a flying visit to Jodhpur, arrived at half five in the morning, got a rikshaw to Pushp and went back to bed for a few hours before spending the afternoon in the Internet cafe. Had Tandoori chicken for dinner (Yummy) said our goodbyes to Santosh, KP and the guys before going to bed early as we had to catch a 5am train to Jaipur.

Jodhpur is a prosperous city. No hawkers, no beggers - well almost none. This is the centre of the textile industry, they ship four containers of textiles every day. So we said goodbye to the beautiful golden city of Jaisalmer and headed to Jodhpur. It took about 5 hours. I again slept! We checked into our hotel - Ranbanka Palace which again is another palace converted into a hotel. Our room was very large but quirky and a bit creaky. After driving around Jaipur for an hour we finally escaped the city for our stupidly long drive to Jodhpur (Apparently all the roads were shut due to a Presidential visit that was taking place for the Rajasthan Festival).
