... us about an hour. I have been in traffic jams before, but nothing to compare to this chaos! The first thing that became obvious is the fact that the lines on the road mean absolutely nothing. If three lanes were marked, five or six "lanes" of traffic moved through them. "Lanes" really oversimplifies what occurs. ... younger (no matter what age) rose to greet people as they came in to the house. It was a sort of reverse receiving line, as we continuously greeted each elder than arrived. At the end of the evening, as the rain set it, people who had walked down our bumpy country road all piled inside Uncle Boy's jeepney to be taken home. ... 3 1/2 quid, which has the taxi bus thing on. It's quite cool looking and I'm sure will feature in some future photo aweseness. Back to San Agustino, pay another 3 quid and go in the main church. Nice chiller morning, watching Telly and packing up. Took the 11.30am boat back to Batangas. The driver was so useless and drove into another boat at the start when we were leaving.
