... And, the city has one of the world’s largest concentrations of palaces. St. Petersburg has a lot of “…in the world’s”, and the Russians are very proud of that fact. Additionally, the metro in the old part of this city is said to be incredibly beautiful (I have not been yet), as it was built to be “like a palace for the working people.”

... a lot like hers but of course our bags
were checked to St Petersburg, a second look and it was her bag! We
grabbed it, checked it back in and all bags arrived at St Petersburg.

Passport control at St Petersburg was interesting, I didn't even
get a smile although I passed through without issue, the lady took
