      Many of these towns were nice and green mountain villages with streams, creeks and rivers running through them - most had free camping areas but we thought they looked a bit too crowded. We turned off the main road and headed North through Maleny to have a look around then took the windy road down to Maroochydore stopping at a lookout just before descending from the hinterland to the coast. ...

      ... for a coffee. The beach and coffee shops were doing great business on a lovely sunny day. While many people were enjoying the sunshine, some were even brave enough to venture in for a swim. Further off shore, standup paddlers were wobbling along while even further out, surfers were catching waves as they curled around the headland at Boiling Pot in the Noosa National Park.       ... came back for a shower with Sarah. We had a wonderful meal with The Williams - steak, snags, potato salad and caesar salad. All very nice and I ate far too much.
