... lots of different places, then there was an air master he woke and there was something with wind and then he woke the water master and there came the water show. Pretty amazing! They also used like projection on the water and laser beams, so a good show, I must say. It turned out the be pretty late, so I decided to head back to the hostel and get a good nights rest. ... it Kopi, and it tasted like delicious and strong French pressed coffee. Apparently, their trick is to brew the coffee with egg shells to take out the acidity in the coffee. They even gave me a to-go cup with a cute little ribbon handle for carrying ease. ... stories, no natural light, no signs maps or exit signs. If you have ever been to Vegas they designed the casinos on this principle ;). It was a mass of stalls selling anything and everything. At one point I turned around and there was absolutely no sign of Martin anywhere. Oops. After a few minutes we bump in to one another with all excitement over.

... and lots of yummy, mummy ex-pat wives doing yoga, tai chi or light jogging whilst gossiping. We walked a lot, taking photos here and there. The sun was quite fierce at times but mostly overcast as it threatened to chuck it down. It was whilst exploring the orchids that a prickly heat rash started, my body reacting to sunlight after months hidden under layers. most annoying as its so itchy. And apparently you cant buy antihistamine widely like you can in the UK. Still, i ...

... It was a bit of a reality check that we were well and truly in the tropics.

* David says he wasn't scared.....

All in all we had a great week in Singapore; it's a vibrant and interesting place to visit although the heat and humidity takes some getting used to. Everything is super clean and organised. We were thoroughly well looked after by Rebecca and Mark - a big thank you to them.

On to Malaysia.....
