... I've read Dickens – I know better than to weigh things down with great expectations. But I am looking forward to finding out who I am or could be away from all of this. Which parts of me are situational and which parts go with me wherever I go? Does the joy of travel stem from a break from our normal circumstances or from a break from our normal selves? Is travel discovery of self or reinvention? And if it's the latter, is that creation permanent or temporary?
