... car car park where a man spoke good English, he explained that the site would open at 1.00pm. That gave us te to have an early lunch. At opening time we took the cable car up to the entrance, there were souvenirs stalls lining the track and a barrier from the exit that made you walk past them all! Well planned tourism! ... the castle which has been turned over to a marine archeological museum. Beautiful shady walks and fascinating exhibits going back to relics from the Bronze Age. Well worth the quick visit! After quite some difficulty in receiving the hire car that we had organised we finally set off for Selcuk to stay overnight so we could visit Ephesus the following day.
