Today was the last day of the Backroads adventure and ended with a short/relaxing ride prior to saying our goodbyes. After a nice breakfast we all got on our bikes for a ride through Bruges. In started so nice, beautiful morning, sun shining and all our group sticking together and riding as a true group of friends that we have become. ... set off, walking again, we must have walked about 5/6 miles plus ! God I wish I could ride a bike...I intend to learn before our next big adventure! ... just get us to the park. The section of the park with paths is a mile long and connected to a large natural reserve over 5 miles long. The park was beautiful, more of a forest, then a park, but we did find a nice grassy opening filled with families and friends lounging about. I realized after we left I forget to take a picture, but there wasn't anything specific to take a picture of. Just think of a gigantic Prospect Park in San Francisco and you will be close.
