... was also potato wedges. So my dinner was a little broth, bread, wedges and a delicious cake for dessert. I was actually surprisingly full after that. Probably the entire group went to a nice cocktail bar for one last night out together. We tried not to be up too late because we still had to pack, but it didn't happen of course. It was sad to have to say goodbye to all our new friends. Its crazy how fast its gone ...
Good day to travel
is becoming extreme Finally, there was no excuse to stay in Ilowiec, other than "I don't wanna go!" The weather turned the corner and helped me make a move. Malgosia and Staszek were nice enough to drive me all the way to Poznan so I didn't have to stress about making it on time.

We Came, We Warsaw, We Conquered
... gave us some nice panoramas of the city, and also went over the river to the Praga district which is where lots of scenes in The Pianist were filmed. It’s also one of the few areas of the city that wasn’t totally demolished in the war, so it’s got some of the oldest buildings in the city. Other than that we just took in many of the sights and got seriously filled up on peirogies.
