Last night in Venice - Last entry until the 14th!

... euro cents...We were annoyed we had been paying so much but now we know better!

Dinner last night was at a little restaurant sitting right on the Grande Canale and we had pizza, again. The food isn't what we had read about in our books because the area we have been staying is super heavily populated by tourists and we didn't want to fall prey to the tourist menu. However, I will say I am loving the carbonated citrus flavoured drinks, ...

Villains in Venice

... walk away. When we got there it was full (that's how you know it's a good place). We had a drink at the bar beforehand. We had seen loads of people drinking a orange drink and were very curious as to what is it. Another couple beside us told us it was Spritz and was really quite nice so we ordered one. Cafes with white linen cloths that sell sweets and pastries with coffee and provide the perfect place to rest your aching back and watch the piazza as you recover your strength for the next scenic feast as you find the next lane to walk down.

A day in Venice

A travel blog entry by alcambetsy

A nice leisurely breakfast at the hotel, some advice from the concierge on what to see and do and we are on our way. Only one firm activity in mind the gondola ride through the maze of canals. A walk around the outskirts of the island shows the industrial area as well as the hospital - the water ambulance we saw in action a couple of times the previous night. It appears that it's not ...
