Clean, affordable and well located Your House Guest house never fails to deliver. Offering a good range of room choices to suit all budgets and now with the recent addition of the attached restaurant, providing delicious meals at a great price, this is the place to stay while in Chiang Mai.

I'm not actually sure how many times we've stayed here now, but it's a few and we are heading back again next year.

This place is amazingly comfortable for the price and Sin, Vincent and Cha are always about to help you out.

Sin has gotten herself the restaurant next door to the reception now and makes some awesome meals for a great price

Chiang Mai is about 12 hours north of Bangkok via trian. We took the overnight train to minimize travel time and still enjoyed some scenery for a few hours in the morning. Unlike my first train ride which was mostly with Thai, the sleeper cars on this train were entirely filled with tourists. It was about $26.  We picked and checked into a basic …

So I met a couple of lovely English girls at the hostel in Bangkok and whilst I know that Bangkok is a large city, without some buddies to chill with I was slightly at a loss as to what to do with myself. So when they suggested flying up to Chiang Mai with them for a nominal cost I jumped at the chance. We all have a laugh and get on fairly well so …

Needing a break from our regimented daily routine, Phill and I decided it was time to get some of that typical touristy stuff out of the way, so we could continue with our relaxing, ha ha. There were three things on our must see and do list and we decided it was best to hit them all in one day and get them out of the way. Having lacked the time or …

After allowing myself what I thought would be sufficient time to recover from my New Years celebrations (one day was nowhere near enough! ha ha), it was time to get into one of the main reasons why I returned to Chiang Mai. Now I love Chiang Mai's laidback vibe, brilliant yoga classes, the georgous people and it's delightful food but what really …
