At around 6pm, when the sun set, I went to the local shop, on the back of my neighbour's motorbike to buy Chinese lanterns. We then lit the lantern, waited for it to heat up, and let it go into the sky. The night sky sparkled as it was lit up with fireworks, which added to the festivities.
