The son of Matoula has goats and sheep and the meat comes from their own produce, but vegetables, cheese and virgin olive oil are also produced by the family who are farmers.
Indeed I was so lucky that day and Matoula, showed up much later when she finished with the kitchen and sat with us for a while. Earlier she was busy because other people came and she had to be in the kitchen.
