    Value for money

Clean rooms, hot coffee and very odd bathrooms. Staff here are the nicest so far on our journey. Budget, no pool, restaurant only open after 5. Very good value for money, has fountains and outdoor areas, good aircon, fairly good wifi, lots of restaurants in area, walking distance to water palace.
If you stay here you must check out kedais restaurant 600 m up the road and over the crossing into Jalan Tirtodipuran. It's unbelievable.

Nice room, really awesome bathroom and beautifull garden. There's a can with hot water for tea or coffee outside the room every morning. The location is good, close to the kraton, saras wati temple and the bird market.

But you have to keep moving on, ready to face the next day no matter how it will turn out to be. If I had given in to my temptation and stayed in Kampot one more day with Anette and others, I would not have had such a wonderful day with Danique and Meryl. And now, I move on again ... to ...

Borobudur is a massive Buddhist temple built on a hill, its built in rings with each ring representing a different stage towards enlightenment. We had plenty of time wandering the lower rings that include 1500 bas reliefs of Buddhist teachings. The upper rings include stupas that have Buddha sculptures in them. ...

... farewell to the setting sun in the west at day's end. The traditional Javanese pathway to Borobudur was a sweeping, curving drive, to help avoid the pitfalls of life, but there is now also a Chinese-constructed road that leads straight to the monument.

There is also a truly weird anomaly to the way this site works. Every visitor is required to wear a sarong—it’s no big deal, they loan it to you for free and tie it for you, too—which is ...

... draped with a mossi net dominated most of my reasonably large room with its own toilet and shower, but strangely no sink - there was one in the corridor just outside. The room didn't have air-con, but compensated with a huge fan on the ceiling and as with many places no hot water, which didn't really bother me that much because normally your are so hot and sweaty that a cold shower is nice, and as for the air-con the room was tucked away in the house with no big windows facing the ...
