    Value for money

Clean rooms, hot coffee and very odd bathrooms. Staff here are the nicest so far on our journey. Budget, no pool, restaurant only open after 5. Very good value for money, has fountains and outdoor areas, good aircon, fairly good wifi, lots of restaurants in area, walking distance to water palace.
If you stay here you must check out kedais restaurant 600 m up the road and over the crossing into Jalan Tirtodipuran. It's unbelievable.

Nice room, really awesome bathroom and beautifull garden. There's a can with hot water for tea or coffee outside the room every morning. The location is good, close to the kraton, saras wati temple and the bird market.

... the afternoon at the pool while pouring rain falls down in the last hour... We swim nonetheless until the thunder joins the party! We return for dinner at Via Via restaurant. While en route by taxi, we note that people put objects (flower pots, etc.) to prevent scooters from riding on the sidewalks! We should also mention that when we arrive at the hotel, the guard looks in the trunk of the car for security measure ...

Amoghavajra stayed and developed his own disciples, one of whom was a Chinese monk named Huiguo. He cultivated his own disciples, the most prominent of whom were a Javanese monk named Bianhung, who later became an important teacher of this esoteric Buddhism in Indonesia, and a Japanese monk named Kaiku, later called Kobo Daishi, who founded Shingon Buddhism, created ...

The underground pathways of the water castle still exsisted too which led to an underground mosque and other hidden areas. That evening we went to a recommended cafe for dinner and I had the best nasi goreng I've had so far! Today we planned to ...

... Fortunately it wasn't our bus that made the bang. But we all shot up out of our slumber to see some poor middle aged woman sitting in the dirt, upright but in total shock, with her bike another thirty or so yards further on, half buried in a ditch, half in a fence. To be honest, I'm amazed this only happened once. The overtaking here has to be seen (through gaps in your fingers) to be believed.

But hey, we made it. And Liza made a new Facebook ...

... I am gaining it. The coconut sweets and cakes are great, so are the peanut chips and all the other oily snacks that I get. My excuse is that I cannot refuse to eat them as they are specially prepared for me. My hotel is very user friendly the owners speak English more or less and the Internet did work most of the time. The room is made for the double bed I think, one side has almost 30 cm to get into the bed and the other side 80cm. There is a place to hang something ...
