That was a very long and tiring drive from El Paso to San Antonio. Started at 2:30 in the afternoon and reached after midnight. ... in the parking (lot)....one of the sales guys came by and asked if I smelled anything and of course I said "nope" (lol) so finished flushing tanks and left. Made it to Lackland AFB and hooked up to everything, this is not a bad place to stay.....not to many spots open, so this is were we will sit until Fri morning and then it's back ...

... through the site of the Alamo. Mostly, it was nice wandering the river walk and dining at the waterside patios. Travel Tip - you can stroll along the river walk with open alcohol, as long as it is not in glass. Also, if you fall in the river you will be fined. Tomorrow I head for the Texas Hill ...
