... a ram. It was ok I had it pinned against the pen door and then Jules came rushing over, turned it over, in doing so it kicked out and scraped my knee. Ooowwwww!!!!!! We carry on. The cockey actually did come in and helped Russell turn and crutch some for him. We finish them by about 1.30pm and get going ASAP, so we can get on the road to Taupo. So we go all the way to Hastings to travel back to Waipuk, shower, grab our bags and then to Taupo via Hastings! What a palava! ...

... caravan for a little while and Hef walks to the kitchen to see if he can see what's going on. There two police cars but he can't see anything else. Then I look out and the guy is cuffed being escorted to the police car. Oh dear god! We haven't seen anymore so presume he broke his probation terms or something. I wonder what tomorrow will bring as Colin says he's 3 shearers short for tomorrow and farmers are crying out for their sheep to be shorn! Right must go and put my washing ...

We all scoffed down a few Sunday oatmeal pancakes (some old habits are just impossible to break) and headed into Hastings to the Farmers Market. It was packed - the busiest we have ever seen it. Every man and his children were out in the glorious Hawke's Bay sunshine grazing their way round all the stall samples. ... we eventually chose a drive to the coast to sea a golden beach. The drive there wasn't as relaxed as the day before as I was concentrating on my stomach's violent dance it seemed to want to continuously practise. ... after having done some volunteer work with some elderly folk who live in minute little rooms. We had a cup of tea and a shower and then set off for a walk in the area.
