Here is the AHT building in the tiny town of Rottenmann, Austria, about halfway between Salzburg and our next stop Vienna (Wien in German).

We met with the president of AHT USA who gave us a tour of the freezer factory and discussed with us the possibility of exporting our cart business to Europe.

Later in the trip we are also trying to arrange a meeting with AHT's operations in England.

... for hours going ah, ah look at that. Then we bought some chocolate to die for. We got the train and bus back to Hutteldorf where our camping platz is - it is very nice with trees and good clean facilities. No words can describe how beautiful this city is - only second to Bath so far. Tomorrow we will go to do more exploring and find a Heurigan - or wine Garden. Tonight we need to do some domestics and then have a beer and chat with the other Aussies camping here. Off to Venice on Friday.

... next - again a beautiful city on the river. We stayed two nights...ahhhh luxury of hotels after sleeping in a van. It was stinking hot (mid 30's) and would have been unbearable anyway.

Today we arrived in Bratislava, Slovakia today. A much quieter city - only about 500,000 people here. Nice change of pace after the hustle and bustle of Budapest.

... This could range from arranging a travel reservation, to getting a room ready, to waiting on a table, to bringing the bill, to cashing out a table. There rarely seems a sense of urgency about much of anything. (Again, railroad time is an exception to this rule. Perhaps Mussolini left a legacy that impacted the rest of Europe on this issue.)

... of us jumped on our bikes, which we had all day, and headed down to the local trout farm. Here we paid to catch one fish, that you could not throw back, which they then cooked and fed to you as a full meal. Being a trout farm, we all caught one within a few minutes and the fun was over. But hilariously Marty managed to take over 45 minutes to catch his. We all tried to help him, but somehow nothing would get on the line. At last the poor bugger got one, but it was the smallest of the day ...

... me is so exotic. Today, I actually visited the Schloss Fügenddgdg castle. If you love old medieval castles the Tirl area is great. I love the feel of the old stones and I can just imagine being a princess as I walk thru the hallways of the castle. ... with two dogs the entire time and see some cool sights. We ate some amazing cheesecake strudel at a really cute cafe at the end of our tour and then came back and took yet another nap. We went back downstairs to the bar, had a beer and some amazing hamburgers cooked by the cool chef of the hostel. Of course, we went back up to bed shortly after...woke up early to catch our train to Vienna the next day.
