So Many Flowers!
... could enjoy the colorful splendor of the Keukenhoff Gardens.
The gardens were pretty much built for tourists so there were little cliché things all over the gardens such as giant Dutch shoes to stand in and take pictures and a gift shop devoted to nothing but shoes. The Keukenhoff Gardens were laid out in a nice manner, each section being named after a member of the royal family. There were ponds and water fowl strategically placed in parts of the gardens ...
Zwanenburg
... l motorways and more motorways woven under and over, without any houses in sight. Then Zwanenburg full of close packed houses. It felt like far too much land is used for roads so all the people have to like packed in together.
I managed a quick morning walk around Zwanenburg before the hotel took me back to the airport to head south to Breda.

We're Goin' Dutch!!!!
... to the Dutch, to ease our financial situation & help pay off the feckin IMF!!!! Anyway, the appeal of this quirkiness lasted about 2 minutes (or four days...I could no longer gauge the passing of time due to the monotony of motorway riding!!)

To cut a VERY long story short, we are flying on the scheduled day (ie: today), now via Paris with KLM/Air France to Buenos Aires...and Business Class...thank God for Flying Blue miles!! We are now taking full advantage of the Crown Lounge at Schiphol, waiting for our connection to Paris...can't wait.....

... God I loved it. I think the haka is very primal. The power and the energy of it is so strong, you could almost reach out and touch it.
They were wearing the traditional Maori outfits made of flax and jewellery such as hei tiki. They were also wearing shorts, in this weather! Fair play to them because it was damn cold. Waana Davis, the chairperson of Toi Maori gave a speech, which was followed by the ritual greeting between the Maoris and the honoured guests, ...
