... was harder to do than the actual slopes. This was very good and made us both want to go skiing. The slopes were pretty huge for an indoor ski centre ! After our skiing adventure we got on the metro to the burj khalifa (worlds tallest tower). Stupidly we ended up in the women's section on the train which lead to some disapproving looks. ... in the sea and we had a great taxi driver who explained it all to us. Atlantis was very busy, it's a huge hotel right in the crescent of the palm and we hunted around and explored a bit looking for the Curtis's, even got out to the pool and the beach which were guest only but couldn't find them unfortunately. ... Robbie and I were literally walking targets, it's like they could smell us a mile away! Being the obvious tourists we are, we got sucked in... ... big water slide park. The building itself is stunning. Thankfully it is well air conditioned as it is into the mid 40s every day and only drops to 35 degrees overnight. We jump in the car and head for the beach. We come to a village which is very busy with the local folk. We decide to stop for a look.
