    The Lost in France tour - 2013, has not quite started yet, as I missed the boat this morning at 7.30, and as there is only one sailing a day from Poole, I was stuffed.In my defence, it did go 10 minutes earlier than the time on the schedule, but then again I was supposed to be there 45 minutes before that.     ... this morning, the city has some amazing town walls and very interesting maritime history e.g. from an American (and modern) perspective - this is the port the Mayflower and the Titanic left from. Matthew had already done a wall tour so he went to our old hotel and downloaded somemore Oxford lectures that had been corrupted.



    We also stocked up on chocolate and gin and tonics.

    ... to get a table at Jamie Oliver’s Italian restaurant for lunch which was surprisingly not expensive and of course divine - safe to say we didn’t leave hungry! Bath is definitely a place that you could just aimlessly walk around for hours, as long as the weather holds out of course, and that’s what we did a lot of the time – true bliss!
