At last - we got to see the Giant's Causeway
... of like seeing Niagara Falls for the first time - you just can't stop looking at it.
We came back to town and tried to find a pub we liked - with no luck. The Bushmills Inn is quite posh was so lacking in character, and the second one we tried just seemed to have the wrong vibe somehow. So we gave up and went for a bite to eat at a very nice restaurant. Then home to our lovely B&B with very friendly and helpful hosts.

Day 2 Dublin to Northern Ireland
... no name. We stopped and asked for some directions and eventually got back on track. We finally made it to the Giants Causeway but it was a little late. We were able to take a trail up high on a cliff and look from above. We went into town (Bushmills) around 8pm and everything was closed, even the pubs. Day 10 - Derry to Omagh
... land in the church graveyard and blow the graves up, one time sending an occupant of the grave back over the wall into Bogside :/ At St Columb’s cathedral we learnt about a book which is housed in this location which tells how many people died from starvation or clashes per day during ‘The Siege’ and the cost of ‘food’…A rat cost one shilling, a mouse, sixpence and a dogs head was 2 shillings and sixpence!

Day 9 - Northern Ireland Coast
... cross to a small Island. On the Island, Salmon fisherman lived and worked and had built the bridge to get across. When we arrived we were disappointed to find out that we weren’t allowed to cross due to the windy conditions as by the time we arrived at the bridge it would was to be closed. We were told we could still walk down to it and have a look so off we went. When we arrived, the guy manning the bridge told us we could still cross! So he let us go. It ...
