    ... we had to make a steep descent from the mountains to the coastal flats. Google had kindly plotted us a route which was proving both accurate and useful.     I woke up late and missed the free breakfast. Funny how some people could have something like that ruin their day. Not this day! I ate a Larbar I had brought with me and headed out for a walk down the beach. Today I wore my new Keen hiking sandals. They allowed me to walk on the rocks and through the rivers without hurting my feet anymore than they already are.     The photos here are of our trip to Tortuga Island. Gabe and I left our homes before dawn, and Jose drove us into San Jose to catch a tour bus for Puntarenas, about an hour's ride away. Our tour company, Calypso, arranged breakfast for us ashore, complete with a Marimba band.

    ... lunch time. We pray her story has great impact on them.

    This has been an amazing time in Costa Rica and our hearts are happy to come home and yet sad to say goodbye to so many of the kids that captured our hearts.
    We'll check in when we make it to Houston...and we should even be able to catch up with the rest of our team in the airport there for a few hours while we overlap there.

    We're trusting Him all the way home.

    So The Magnificent 7 were in the midst of a wonderful eggs and bacon breakfast at 730 when Helen, the business manager at Hogar de Vida came over to our table and said, "you've got to stop eating now and run down to the back of the property. Cows are coming in."
