... we had to make a steep descent from the mountains to the coastal flats. Google had kindly plotted us a route which was proving both accurate and useful. However at some point we missed a turnoff. No bother though because the thoughtful townsfolk at the next town had put a sign up "Jaco Beach". As I worked with numerous children I loved to watch their eyes as the white tee shirts exploded with colors they selected. That look, of pure joy, is one that fuels us. Thank you for the donations that ...

It's hard to quantify how great our get away day in Jaco turned out to be. On the way, we stopped to visit dozens of huge crocodiles. All the guys were amazed at their size and power. We watched them from a bridge over the river in which they swim.

When we arrived at Jaco, we had an oceanside breakfast at a hotel. Great b-fast! Then we went to the Vista Los Suenos zipline tour of the rainforest. The guys who had never ziplined loved it! Repeat visitors ...
