Today I ventured out. I walked all of Jaco Beach and the farther I walked the nicer the beach became. Outside of my resort the beach is very rocky and the sand is dark. When I got to the far end of the beach the sand lightened up and was soft. Soft enough for me to layout and read my book. On the way to this ideal locale I was asked by a surf instructor, Ando if I knew how to surf. We had a great conversation that was the highlight of my day. It ...

We re-boarded our bus, snoozed a bit on the ride back to San Jose, and were delighted to meet Jose once again as we stepped off the bus. He returned us to our homes and we crashed quickly after our delightful day on the water and in the sunshine.
