... other technique is to get someone to sign their support and then to ask for a donation; if the person refuses they can be beaten up and robbed – we saw one situation where it started to get rough with the man ending up having to pull his partner away and both hurrying away. Nasty. We had been warned about them by several different people and so a firm "NO" is the simple way to avoid any trouble. Michael particularly likes that part!

... there because it's decorated differently. I mean I'm sure it was one of the nicest places on the avenue, but it kind of looked like a strip club to me. There was like velvet on the walls and LED lights. Not to mention, flat screens in the wall and couches for seats. Maybe it did act as a strip club at night? Who knows. La Pluie à Paris
... main sea port ferry crossing between England and France they have a lot of English style things in the town. The translations on the menu at this place were hilarious however. They definitely needed someone to check over the English.
